Library
The library is named on the first female teacher of India and great social activist Savitribai Phule (03 Jan 1831 – 10 Mar 1897). She was an Indian social reformer, educationalist, and poet from Maharashtra. Along with her husband, Jyotirao Phule, she played an important and vital role in improving women's rights in India. She is regarded as the mother of Indian feminism. Phule and her husband founded one of the first Indian girls' school in Pune, at Bhide Wada in 1848. She worked to abolish the discrimination and unfair treatment of people based on caste and gender. She is regarded as an important figure of the social reform movement in Maharashtra. A philanthropist and an educationist, Phule was also a prolific Marathi writer.
The College has state of art library which includes following:
(i) Total six newspapers in which ‘05’ Hindi Daily and ‘01’ English Daily.
(ii) Different kinds of competitive magazine (Yojana, Drishti, Pratiyogita Darpan)
(iii) Ten laptops are dedicated for e-library.
(iv) Around 7000 thousand books which are bar-coded and linked with automated control system.
(v) It is fully air conditioned and
(vi) RO water facility and fridge is also provided for cool water.
